Living with my parents who are not interested in changing their SAD diet, it's really hard for me to eat and stay 100% when the house is full of SAD food...

I make a few 100% steps once in a while but can't seem to keep at it more than 4-5 days in a row, essentially because I can't prepare much than the regular salad or fresh fruits and start craving something different. And naturally with all the SAD food around me it's just too easy to grab something else.

So I just got back from shopping and got 5 nice ripe avocados and limes, non pitted dates, and am going to give 100% raw another try.

Any tips or advises are welcome. I know this is something I want to do, I feel it and my body craves more and more for raw food. Whenever I stick to it I start seeing changes within just 2 or 3 days raw (clear skin rather than oily, brigher eyes, etc.) so I really want to keep at it as long as I can without interrupting the cycle. It's just really hard when you're in a SAD friendly environment where you don't have any space for yourself...

Well, you've got an avocado, limes, and dates - throw in a banana and you can make lime pudding. Makes a great parfait, topping for fruit, frozen treat or ice cream pie filling.

Lime pudding?

Now that's a recipe I'd love to have :)

Hey I'm in a same shoes you are. This is like my fourth time going raw lol hopefully I stick to it. What I did...I buy just enough food for one day, and keep it in my room. Whenever I eat I eat in my room or go outside and get some air. Keeps me out of my parents hair, and doesn't tempt me with SAD food. I try to make it so I NEVER go look in their fridge, and cabinets. It's hard, like today I was hardcore craving some cooked food...but I'm kinda makin due by getting my mind off of it being on here and eating some fruit. It can be hard, but I know you can do it! I don't know if you are, but if your trying to eat raw at the same time your family is eating a SAD meal (like having dinner together or something) as rude as it may seem to your family...NOT eating with them will defenitly help with the SAD cravings. I hope this helped at least a little =] Good luck on your journey!
