Hi all,

I have a an almost 2 yro that I have limited exposure to sugar, salt and wheat, and nuts. I am incorporating lots of raw into her diet, but I am not wanting to have so many nuts just yet. She is allergic to sesame and I don't know that I should give her so many nuts that seem to be in so many raw recipes.

Further, I have a friend who is allergic to a lot of nuts, so I would like to fix things especially deserts without nuts besides fruit icecreams.

THanks

Seeds can be used instead on Nuts. SunFlower Seeds are an Excellent one. You can just omit them when possible. Trial and Error, I wish you Happy Hunting.

I have a nice British book titled Eat Smart, Eat Raw by Kate Wood. Her use of nuts is very moderate and she is generous with vegetables in her recipes [which I love!].

Also you might want to consider checking out some of Daniel Cousins Cookbooks at your local bookshop. I find he uses more coconut meat and other fruits in place of nuts in the majority of his recipes.

she has two & i can't remember the names. i actually think that 80% of the recipes in her first book are nut-free. just google Natalia Rose.
