We use alot of hemp seeds in our house( even the picky sad kids loves them). Just wondering if anyone knows of a good online source for cheaper seeds. Right now we use manitoba harvest which is great, but on the expensive side( 7.99 per 1/2 lb) .

I get mine from ebay. I bought a bulk pack of 5kg for £10.99 including postage and packaging.
If you are not in the Uk im sure you could get similar on ebay US.

Mine dont say whether they are organic though, So if your are loooking for organic they may be much dearer I would think.

Sometims Fishing shops have them as they mainly sold for bait..... but us raw fooders know they are much more beneficial than that !:)

I've ordered hemp seeds from iHerb, Azure Standard and Matt Monarch's site, raw food world. *Ü*

I just checked one of my favorite Chia and Vitamineral Green sources, Raw From the Farm www.rawfromthefarm.com and they have Certified Organic hemp seeds for $10/lb.

if you get matt monarch's raw food world newsletter/email, he has monthly specials. right now, you can get a 3lb bag of hempseeds w/ a 16oz bottle of hemp oil for $21.

Hulled hemp seeds are more expensive. I buy them from Raw Vegan Source for about the same price as you. They also have a 5 lb bag of Nutiva hemp seeds for $54.99, but there are crushed hulls in the bag.
