Hi All,
I'm glad to have found this board. I've been eating raw for about 2 wks now and can already see and feel a difference in my body and energy. I've even got my kids and husband trying all my smoothies and eating some yummy desserts! (I hope to convert them to some extent too!)
My motivation for doing this is that I just turned 40. I'm in ok shape, but would like to lose 15lbs and have really been lacking energy and motivation for a while. My Mom is diabetic, and I want to avoid the same thing. Overall, I want to teach my kids to eat in a healthy way and cut down on how much boxed and processed crap we bring in to our house.
So far, so good. I'm looking for some new good recipes too.
