My sweet boyfriend made a raw birthday cake for me. The first pic is the first attempt. Unfortunately the plate flew off the top of the car as we were driving away : O
Pic 2 was the second try and he made it last night. It was sooooo good!!!
I'll post the recipe when I find out what he put in it. I believe it was a combo of nuts, dates, cacao, coconut. It was so rich, I could only finish half a slice. Total Gourmet.

Please do post recipe when you have it. What a sweet thing for your boyfriend to do!
Today is day 6 of 100% raw for me. Had small dinner party last night - see my appetizers and dessert below:
Stuffed mushrooms -- portobello caps with Alissa's alfredo recipe (extra thick)
Stuffed peppers -- filling is Ani Phyo's "Black Pepper Cheeze" then drizzled with her "Mole'"
Dessert is Jen Cornbleet's "One Bowl Brownies" shaped in madeline pan, served with Cafe Gratitude's "Creme Fraiche" and some berries
I am so excited - the difference between 85% and 100% raw is AMAZING!
That was so nice & thoughtful of your boyfriend - what beautiful cakes. I especially love the smiley face decoration! *Ü*

Thanks all for the Happy Birthday : )
Yes he is a keeper. He is has gradually gotten more into Living Foods over the last couple of years and ends up surprising me with gourmet dishes. He is definately the chef in the relationship and I am the one with the nutritional knowledge.
For those of you who want the recipe, he got it here:

He tweaked it a little for the second cake and made it rasberry.
Enjoy~
