I haven't posted in a few days. Got hit with the worst PMS ever and just didn't have any 100% raw days. I did not pig out or anything, and was about 75% raw, but today I'm back to 100%.

B: fruit smoothie with banana, nectarine, 1/4 pomegranite, cacoa nibs and ice
S: blackberry cheesecake
L: Thicke's cheezey cucumber corn rice casserole
S: couple of sweet potato crisps
D: will be Alissa's pad thai
S: probably blackberry cheesecake

Hello, everyone, I am still plugging away. I see our numbers have REALLY dropped off. I am having a bad day pain wise. One of the symptoms of fibromylagia is an exaggerated muscle soreness in response to exercise etc. I ran a very short little race yesterday at a church picnic and today is a MAC TRUCK day. I hurt all over and just generally feel flu-ish. Makes it hard to start any exercise program when you know you are going to go through this. So I am resting and doing hot baths. The only thing I have had to eat today so far is a huge green smoothie of apple, almond, collards, coconut oil, and cinnamon. I plan to have some marinated mushrooms and salad for supper.

Breakfast and lunch were good, citrus and then salad, started eating non-raw after my nap around 5.30pm.
It made me feel better, as I felt really hungry for the food, which can only mean I had not been eating enough before. I should have eaten fruit after my salad. Have learned from my mistake and will make sure I do this in the future.
Also had noticed baby was taking less milk, maybe because it has not had enough fat in it.
All set to get back on track tomorrow. Def. in this for the long term!!
Good luck all, and stay strong whatever!

I would like to join this thread cause I started my raw challenge today. I plan to go to the equinox or just over 30 days.

Today I had a fruit smoothie for breakfast. Some ginger, cucumber, apple carrot juice for lunch with some flax crakers and a green smoothie for dinner with a Larabar. An intentionally light day to start. Feel a little bloated from the GS as I haven't been having them daily as I used to. Will start to again though on this challenge.

Feel OK so far. No real cravings today as I had when I did my 5 day raw challenge a couple months ago. This is a good thing!! Am feeling strongly like I can do THIS!

Hi everyone, I've been busy so I haven;t posted as much but I've been 100% raw. Today was ok but yesterday I was having cravings for cooked food, which was the first time that's happened (usually I've be having way more cravings so that's good). For about 3 days I was wanting that 'full and numb' feeling so I was eating loads of raw fats but it didn't numb me the way I wanted.

Today:

Green Smoothie
Vegetable Juice
Goji Berries
Fudge Cookies
'Cheese' Crackers
Sandwiches of Almond Mediterranean Bread, zucchini hummus, avocados, tomatoes, and olives

Tomorrow I'm going to try to make Thick's Cheesy Rice casserole, but I'm nervous as I've never made the cucumber rice before.

I'm still detoxing on and off, about every other day or so, usually joint pains.

Also wondering - are Larabars really good? I saw today that my health food store does carry them, but it looks like they had only 2 or 3 ingredients and I could make the same thing in my dehydrator. Are they worth it?
