all the joints in fingers hurt

I've been off this site for a few months and eating stuff I guess I shouldn't. The last 3-4 weeks my fingers hurt and have started to stiffen up.

why? what can I do about it?

Start taking some glucosamine every day.
If i do not take it I get stiff and my fingers hurt.
