Hey Everyone!

This is not my first attempt at Raw; i did very well at my first attempt (last year) and felt good - many sniffles disappeared, clothes fit better, i received many compliments on my skin & mood but. . . . i relaxed my sights for a break which proved too long (got married). My problem was that i was an all-or-nothing person and 100% became difficult after i got married. So just a few days past the date i started last year, i aim to start again.

This time the plan is to gradually build up my percentage and concentrate on being as Raw as possible. Definitely raw for Breakfast (GS or fruit), then as many lunches and dinners as i can. Anything that isn't Raw i plan to make vegetarian at least. That way i'm hoping i won't beat myself up if the whole day isn't Raw and i won't throw my hands up in the air and eat badly just because 'something' didn't fit my aim. We have too many stresses in our lives to be adding more with every bite we take.

I strongly believe Raw is supposed to be fun and there is so much inspiration on this site alone!
Pray for me guys, i need the strength to make this work and live a successfully healthy life.

Good for you for taking the 'slow but steady' approach. If you can squeeze a green smoothie, a big salad, and an apple in for breakfast and lunch you will already be eating better than 99% of the so-called civilized world. I do recommend you get some good raw uncookbooks like Alissa's and start experimenting with gourmet raw dinners and desserts for dinner. At least on the weekends. Make being raw fun, and eventually you can save the cooked foods for going out to dinner or special occasions. If nothing else, eliminate the worst of the processed foods from your diet - even if they are vegetarian. That means no white flour, no dairy, no white sugar, no hydrogenated oils and no high fructose corn syrup. Good Luck,
Seedy
