I am trying to figure out how many nutrients are in raw juice vs pulp--when I plug in "kale juice" to nutridiary.com there's no results! (Even "carrot juice" specifically says it's canned rather than raw.) Obviously the raw veg juice itself is full of nutrients, but is the pulp essentially just fiber without nutritive value?

I am curious about this with nut milks as well--I sometimes repurpose the leftover pulp but not sure if it retains many nutrients or not.

I eat a varied diet, but of course I have my favorite veggies--I wanted to plug in a few days of food to nutridiary to see the bigger picture of what I am eating to make sure I get all the necessary vitamins & minerals.

I just measure it by how I feel. I don't count Calories or measure Nutrients. Nutrients are always Present, not at the highest level as the first time you used the Fruit or Vegetable but there are always some there if you choose to use it again. Lets not forget the Benifit of Fiber. If its RAW........Its ALWAYS GOOD to try to reuse it.

I've wondered the same, just curiosity. My old juicer does leave the pulp wetter so I know there's some juice still in there.

Perhaps someone could take the values listed for raw organic carrots, then subtract the values listed for raw organic carrot juice -- the result being what is left in the pulp. Theoretically, that is. I guess it would give an idea but it would depend so much on the quality of the original ingredients, the juicer and the lab work for the original lists.
