Where can I get the true green stevia powder?
I saw it on a raw food show, but I have never seen it sold in stores.
Is this better than the white Stevia, or is it o.k.
Thanks

Rawlife.com carries it. It's suppose to be the true raw stevia, like you've mentioned.
Our local health food store, plus the health food section in 2 of our grocery stores carry the Frontier brand green leaf stevia.
I've got 2 plants in our garden this year that I'm going to dry and grind - they're getting huge! *Ü*

www.mountainroseherbs.com carries it too!

and yes, much better than the white, which has been REALLY processed.
I don't use a lot of Stevia. To me it leaves an after-taste and is gritty at times...

Is the Frontier brand truly raw and green? I don't think I've ever used a green stevia. I get mine from the site where I purchase my supplements, and there are no added ingredients, although it is white. If there aren't any added ingredients, what is the problem with white stevia? I think stevia (http://www.seacoastvitamins.com/topic.php?health=stevia) is a great sweetener (although some do claim they experience an aftertaste with it), and there are even some recipes out that use it now.
Green leaf stevia is simply the leaves of the plant that have been powdered. I don't know if Frontier brand is considered raw or not. One could contact them and see... Such a small amount is used because it's soooo sweet.
I tore off a little piece of one leaf and chewed it and had to spit it out it was so sweet. Amazing! *Ü*
