Can someone explain something to me?

My face is perfect when I'm pregnant. However once I have the baby and start nursing I break out all over my face, mostly the sides of my face though. I never had acne until after having my first baby. I'd get a pimple here and there but that's it.

So, my only thought is hormone imbalance. If this is the case though, how is it fixed naturally and safely since I am still nursing my baby?

I just started taking chelated zinc, thinking maybe I have a zinc deficiency. And I've started eating a handful of pumpkin seeds daily. I already take probiotics daily.

My acne is deep, big painful red bumps and little pimples and blackheads sprinkled around as well.

Any thoughts on how to get my body back in balance?

I'm about 75% raw most days.

TIA!

Try 100% raw and see if that works. Whenever I've had slip-ups I got zits within a day.

100% raw was never a cure for me. my hormones are screwy with pregnancies and breastfeeding too. i think it takes years to rebalance afterwards. i still have skin pigment changes that haven't gone back to normal and my youngest is now 2. there is certain to be some sort of hormonal balancing that can be done either with the help of specific foods or supplements or routines but i have no idea what they may be or where to even look i'm afraid. i just deal with it. clean my skin and don't freak out about the wrinkles and pimples at the same time;).

I'm on the other end of the Scale of Hormones but CHLORELLA works for me. I took hormones and searched for a way to get off them and CHLORELLA has saved My Life. Hormones are So trickey, sometimes all you need are Trace Minerals to bring everything back in Balance.

I've been taking a tablespoon of spirulina in my green smoothies this week. Usually I only take a teaspoon every other day or so. Is chlorella different as far as mineral content goes? Or are there different benefits from the two?

I also have a pound of powdered kelp here that I haven't even opened up yet. Could that help?

I don't think I could go 100% raw right now. I may try it after I'm done nursing and I have my body back to myself. I only have one meal a day that's not raw plus an ounce or two of chocolate.

I appreciate everyone's help!
