Hi everyone!
What temps are you using to dehydrate potatoes and sweet potatoes to make chips?
Could you share your favorite dehydrator recipes?
Thank in advance!

I dehydrate everything at 105 degrees. Kale chips and rawrittos are my faves and the recipes are on this forum somewhere.

WELL I WILL GIVE YOU A RECIPE.
Sweet potato crisps
Renee loux underkoffler living cuisine page 450
Makes 4-6 cup or crisps
3 cup peeled and shredded sweet potatoes
1/4 cup lemon juice
1-cup almonds
2 cup flax seeds
2 cloves garlic
1 cup chopped red onion
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
1-tablespoon savory or thyme
1-tablespoon coriander seeds
1-2 teaspoon sea salt
Soak sweet potatoes in ¼-cup lemon juice and 3-cup fresh water overnight about 6-12 hours) to leech excess starch. Drain and rinse in a strainer. Soak almond in 2-cup fresh water overnight (about 6-12 hours) drain and rinse. Soak flaxseed in 4 cups fresh water for 15-20 minutes or until saturated. The flaxseeds will absorb most or all of the water.
Grind the sweet potato, almonds, flaxseeds garlic, red onion, rosemary, savory or thyme and coriander seeds this can be done in a masticating or triturating juicer(see juices at home)page 206 with the homogenizing blank plate alternatively, they can be ground in a food processor or blender in several batches, adding water as necessary to blend smooth.
In a bowl, mix sea salt mixture with clean, wet hands, spread the mixture thinly on nonstick sheets to the edges of the dehydrator trays. Use rubber spatula for easy spreading dehydrate at 108 F or 12-20 hours or until almost dry. Peel off the nonstick sheets cut into triangles, squares, or rectangles. Return to the dehydrator without the nonstick sheets for a few hours or until crispy climate, temperature and humidity all affect dehydrating time, store in reseal able bags in a cool dry place in the refrigerate or in the freezer

Oooh! Thanks for the recipe Cindy. I have been experimenting with sweet potato and cucumber shoe strings in the dryer. I used lemon and some of those herbs. I enjoyed them but my wife didn't. I think she will like this recipe.
