Hello everyone!

I have a challenge- i've been making raw meals for a man who has type 2 diabetes and he asked me to try adding stevia to the recipes (agave doesn't seem to make his sugar levels all that high, but he's been reading THERE IS A CURE FOR DIABETES by Cousens and wants to incorporate more stevia).

So...... i've been looking through my books... i've been searching the almighty internet.. and NOTHING! I guess i'll start subsituting stevia for another sweetener in some brownie recipes, but i'd LOVE some help from all of you!

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

Here's a site with a conversion...go way down the page but it gives some great information too. I've been using stevia for over 10 yrs. He can use it in drinks, anything. Must warn that this is very bitter when you get too much. Add just a tiny bit them add more if needed. When I put it in my iced tea, I use less than 1/8 tsp.

I like stevia but i hate how the FDA is always claiming that it is mutagenic. If that was the case then why do you allow aspartame then?

It's all about money with them and not about what is right.

Now there's Truvia on the market & something else. I had a coupon for some free Truvia so I tried it. Can't remember what else is in it but I had to add 2 packets to my drink. I think it may be very little of the sweetener so you'll use more.
