Hi, I have had problem with digestion for 1 year. I started do research and i have found that might be candida. I went through special diet last year for two months when i started to eat normally everything came back. (white tongue, cramps in stomach, gas) Then i have been to doctor who took some blood test and after two weeks they have found Helicobacter Pylori. I also recently change my diet and i am trying to eat most Raw food. Would somebody maybe know if i should keep doing raw plus take some special treatment for helicobacter? Is't possible to have candida and helicobacter together?
thanks

Hi Tomas... H Pylori is supposedly what causes most ulcers.

I don't buy into that. I had an ulcer for the first time at 19, when I was with my family in Hungary, having lots of red meat, milk, cheese, coffee, etc. I went to the doctor. She said I had an ulcer. I was positive for H Pylori. She did not give me medicine, just advice. No more coffee, no more milk, no more beer, wine, etc.

It got better, but for several years I had flareups off and on. When I was 24, I went raw. I had been in soooo much pain and was looking for a natural solution. I found this board and raw food. Problem solved. DONE! I'm 27 now and no ulcers in sight.

I had one flareup in the winter of 2007/2008 when I, for various reasons thought it would be good to cheat on New Year's Eve and Day. I was in pain for a week before I got the book "Healing Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's". It talks about different juices, like cabbage juice, that help. It also talks about taking time off from work and allowing your body to really focus on healing. I did that, and in a week or so was totally fine again.

So, don't despair. You have a solution waiting for you, in raw food. Raw food is like a miracle, seriously. I am such a sap lately because I see miracles all the time. I'm sitting here a little teary thinking about the wonderful things raw has done in my life. It was soooo MISERABLE always being in pain.

I hope you can grasp hold of whatever you need to do to rid yourself of these problems.

Hi,
Thanks for advice. What would you think about taking antibiotic (14days) to beat H. pylari then i would go for colon hydrotherapy start taking acidophilus and do proper RAW.
Do you think I could go with that.
I read few book about raw. I started to do raw but not 100%. I bit confuse no with H. pylari. First i thought it was candida. Do you think i can have both?
Thanks

Well, I don't see any reason why you couldn't have more than one problem at a time... I don't do antibiotics, personally. I think they do more harm than good in the long run, but it's just my opinion. I'm not a doctor, but I don't know if even doctors really know what the long-term effects are of hitting your body with all the meds they prescribe!

All I know about H Pylori is that the MAJORITY of people have it, even if they don't know it! And that as long as I stay raw and take care of myself using common sense, I don't have any reason to think about something like H Pylori.

I hope you'll keep us updated on what happens with you!
