Hi, looks like I will be going to Buenos Aires end of Sept. I'm curious if any of you have been and if so what the raw opportunities/challenges are?

Here's a raw restaurant:

It was written up in the Boston Globe:

It's on the 2nd page.
Here are veg restaurants in Bs As (a couple of health food stores are at the end of the listing):

Mercado del Progreso:

It's an old market that sells everything food, not just produce.
There might be little neighborhood markets as well.
Maybe you could check MeetUp to see if there is a group for raw/vegan folks in Buenos Aires.
I went to Argentina and Uruguay in 2000. I wasn't raw then, but vegetarian, and I had no trouble finding vegetarian food while I was there, even though Argentina and Uruguay are a carnivore's paradise. I hope you have a great trip--Bs As is a wonderful city.
