I'm going to be holding a raw food workshop in my town, a raw diet is unheard of in my town so hence the reason to get people interested in how they can help their own health. An article came out in the paper today of me with some very yummy dishes and a run down of what's happening at my workshop but the problem is I had a phone call from a lady whom is also raw and she wanted to know if I intend to let people no the down side of eating raw. I explained to her that even though I have only been raw for close to a year now I haven't actually experienced any down sides to it. Now I'm feel a little apprehensive that people are going to start asking me the pros and cons of it. I want to be really honest and up front with people but can't talk about anything I haven't experienced. Is been raw for this little of time too soon to be holding a workshop, I only intend to give my own experiences and views and not pretend to be anything I'm not but I'm feeling a bit apprehensive now.

deffinately go for it! Did she say what she meant by down side? If anything I think the only down side to being a raw foodie is at social events. But if you could do something great like a workshop to hopefully get even just one more person on the raw boat, that'd pretty awesome!

I would let her discuss the cons at her workshops and you discuss the pros at yours. I don't know of any cons when living a Raw lifestyle, do you?

Thanks everyone, I'm feeling so much better since I posted this just a few hours ago I have had 20 phone calls from people wanting to come along to the workshop. Interesting a lot of these people are nurses who have told me they are just so sick of hearing doctors ignore the fact that people could become well by changing there diet.

OMG! Just go for it! It's going to be great. People need this info, as you have found out.

I've been raw for coming on 3 years, and I don't see a downside. I see different habits and challenges. But my gracious! It's so easy to clean the dishes from this, to go to the bathroom, to live life! I am sooooo free without health issues keeping me down! How can there be a downside to health?

I'm so glad you're there to share with people who want the info!
