Hey All, I'm back!

Wanted to try to wean myself a bit and be my own support, plus we had people in town. I slipped due to poor planning and hunger while touristing the guests around :(

B- kamut salad w/sun dried toms, garlic and parsley
S- apple
L- mega salad w/broccoli, carrots, cuke, summ squash and lettuce
S- 2 apricots, fresh
D- rawsagne, zuke, toms, pine nut cheese, marinated portos, spinach and marinara sauce.

I made it last night and it took me 2.5 hours, it sits in the fridge flavorizing until tonight. mmm.

Had a little glitch last night (!) due to insufficient fruit consumption, but it was quite minimal and I'm back on track!
Must get new blender jug as the smoothies really help when you're not that hungry but need to get the nutrition in to avoid being attracted to unhealthy stuff.

Great smoothie my husband likes to make is 1-2 plums, walnuts (5-10), 1 banana and cup of spinach, handful of ice cubes. Tastes like chocolate milkshake!

I felt like created some food with love today. fresh from my garden.

Wow Sharonb50, that looks great, would love to taste the burgers, a salad is about as much prep as I manage to do right now!

Rest of the day's gone pretty well, citrus, salad and bananas, a corn on the cob, lots of green tea.

Hello=)

Today I ate--

-green smoothie w/ mixed greens and bananas
-outrageously fantastic indian curry with red peppers, vidalia onions and mushrooms
-watermelon (just a slice for once)
-experimental nm red chile casserole--I added psyllium flakes to see how it would firm up but it just got that corn chowder texture and wasn't so great--still ate a lot though=)
- looking forward to a bowl of oranges later, maybe

I'm glad you guys are still here and posting=)

tango167 - That smoothie sounds awesome. I just happen to have all of the ingredients so I'll have to try it tomorrow morning.

sharonb50 - The food you made looks yummy!

Unfortunately, I still haven't made my carrot cake and berry bars that I planned. DH has been going to bed early so I can't run the FP or blender. This is the price I pay for being married to a truck driver, odd hours. At least he is home everyday. This is why I try to do my uncooking on the weekend.

Melon
Salad with baby romaine, baby spinach, tomato, snow peas, red bell pepper, zucchini dressing
Cashews
36 oz water total :( not good, I need to get better with the water intake, I can feel a difference when I don't get enough water.
