What would you like to order from a raw restaurant if you had one? Is there soemthing that you have been to lazy to make that you'd like to try?
For me, I wish I could go and have corn chips and salsa and guacamole--or tacos. Why don't I make them myself?
I think that I love these so much that if the recipe is bad, it might make the cravings for the real thing emerge.
What kind of sampling menu would you love to have at a raw restaurant. (not going into business haha, just hungry and want someone to make stuff for me!=)
What have you always wanted to try but havent yet?

Actually ... our Whole Foods downtown Austin has a raw food bar. My experience is that it is irregularly stocked. It's a big disappointment to me to drive across town to buy some prepared raw food and have none available because the two people who prep it aren't available. But when they do have it, I like to get things I don't want to have around in quantity - it's a way to treat myself.
All that said, my two favorites are the raw tostadas and the raw cheezecake. Yum! Every once in awhile I get the raw vegan tuna. Delish! The things that have kept me from making things like this myself are that I'm the lone raw fooder in the house and I prefer to keep my food less complicated. I'm the kitchen slacker. My food prep needn't get more complicated than guacamole.
I do get that it would be nice to go out. Sit in a nice ambiance with cloth napkins and soy candles and enjoy the company of another human along with the raw deliciousness. When I'm out at a restaurant it's all about the pretty, the presentation and the service.

we have a health food store here that has starting serving pre-made shipped in raw items but they are sooo expensive.
I would like to have a place to sample some things b4 I buy the items & attempt to make it. this way I would know if I could do it & want it.

Raw pizza. I've had no luck making a good crust, and I'd like to see how the pros do it.

Yup, it would definitely be pizza for me too. I haven't tried making it myself yet, because I just recently got a dehydrator (and just an ok one at that), and because it seems rather involved.
I'm actually really surprised that there isn't a raw restaurant near me - nothing in Fort Lauderdale OR Miami?! Come on! Actually, according to a website that lists raw restaurants, there used to be 4 in Miami, but they're all closed!:mad::(
The closest one is around Orlando (4 hours away) - I'm already threatening my boyfriend with a weekend vacation just so I can go to that restaurant!

Yeah, pizza was the first thing that came to mind. I don't have a dehydrator so those kind of dishes always excites me.
I'm still trying to decide if I should get a dehydrator or not. It would be a fun way to get more calories into my diet, but it might lead to me eating less fresh high water content food which isn't a good thing.

I'd like a raw dessert buffet to sample everything. Maybe I should go to a raw potluck....=)

I stayed right near a raw cafe for a while. I think I tried just about everything at some point, but there were 2 main things I went for:
-Juices and smoothies (esp raw nut milk ones)--I can and do make these at home but sometimes it is just so nice to have somebody else's
-Burger (with salad)--it was a really tasty one, with all the condiments. This is something I practically never make at home

Raw sushi/nori wraps. I have tried to make them at home and they don't come out as good as at the restaurants. Also raw lazagne. I had some lazagne at Pure Food and Wine last year when I visited NY, yum!!!
