View Full Version : Where do you find raw nori seaweed?

And what does it taste like? Can anyone describe it to me? it doesn't taste like the ocean or fish or anything, does it? (can't stand the taste of fish)

I don't think it tastes like fish, though it does taste like the sea, if that makes any sense.

I like it. It tastes fresh. They sell raw nori in sheets which are typically used for making sushi.

You can get raw nori at most health food stores.

There's a small local health food store in a town nearby where I purchase mine. It's $3 for a pack of 10.

I wrap the salmon pate and some veggies in it, and I don't even taste a fishy flavour.
