Hello=)
I'm making bags of toys for the women's crisis center at the moment, but had to stop bc I was so so hungry all of a sudden.
-Whole Pineapple
-watermelon (maybe as a smoothie since Im trying to be busy)
I'm seeing a handful of pecans in my afternoon
-44oz banana spinach smoothie (size of my to-go cup that I reuse)
-going to try to convince mr. flesh and tubers to try the one rawish restaurant in houston--or maybe Jason's Deli (organic salad bar)
Any of you guys have a vegetable garden?

I'm not incredibly hungry today... and feeling a little tired but still went and worked out and visited the farmer's market.... I love the market.
I had my favorite smoothie (blueberry, cherry, acai, banana) for a late b'fast then a late lunch of mushrooms & peppers I had marinated in olive oil & apple cider vinegar (Mmmmmmmm very tasty)
then for tonight I plan on making the angel hair pasta (summer squash) and marinara.
and..... maybe even step on that scale and take out that measuring tape.... I had stated I would do it a couple days ago and still find that I'm just not that interested in doing it.... part of the resistance, I think, has to do with how easy it is for me to become obsessed over time and weighing in etc more than is needed... I want to keep this healthy not 'harpy'... lol.... BUT I also think it serves to show the before/after.
We're having a very warm couple days (high 90s) combined with humidity.... I'm a baby.... I'm finding plenty to do inside today... lol

I'm feeling a lot better today, no headache and all the joint pains I had last night were gone when I woke up. I had more energy on my walk too, though still not as much as I'd like and my lungs did tighten up while walking up the really big hill.
I'm making my own recipe book for myself, with all my favorite recipes and my own adaptations and notes.
I weighed myself this morning and was down 2 whole pounds (after staying the same for 2 days) to 163.0! Maybe all that pain last night meant detox and a weight loss. So that's 5.5 lbs since last Saturday. Next time I weigh-in at Weight Watchers I'll have to do it first thing in the morning before eating so it'll match the same loss as my home scale, as yesterday it said I lost only 2.8 lbs when home scale said 3.2.
Today was/will be:
B - Veggie Juice (kale, celery, cuc, dandelion, spinach, beat, carrot, sprouts), an apple, 4 strawberries, and a plum
L - some of my 'cheese' crackers, my salsa, and banana with almond butter
S - Veggie Juice - same as above
D - The plan is for romaine wraps with the polenta (more like an alfredo sauce) and the mushroom gravy from last night with avocado, tomato, sprouts, and raw corn kernels.
D - I'm going to make raw carrot cake for the 1st time, we'll see how it goes.
Tomorrow is the raw potluck! :) I'm going to make a raw pizza that is going to shock and awe! :D

Feeling good today, more energy in dance class, more relaxed.
Huge breakfast, 7 or 8 mandarins and over half a pound of grapes
Lunch was green salad and corn on the cob
Snack of 3 mandarins and 1 grapefruit
Dinner of green salad and 3 bananas, maybe a few mandarins later!
I'm starting to let emotions flow, I don't bottle up anger anymore but let it all out! Maybe I will have to paste a warning notice to my forehead!

Carly – I’m planning on making my first raw carrot cake too. Let us know how yours turns out and I’ll do the same. Are you using Alissa’s recipe? That’s the one I’m trying.
32 oz smoothie with blueberry pomegranate juice, 2 small peaches, baby spinach
Raw brownie
60 oz water total

:D
Love that idea! I have recipes all over the place written on backs of envelopes, as well as postit note markers all through my books.

I do, I do! Its small, but brimming with kale, chard, and tomatoes. I've just seeded some spinach and more kale for a fall crop.
Today was a great food day. Being Saturday and farmer's market day, I restocked my supplies and also my OrganicsLive order came today. Some pretty cool stuff in there so there will be more recipes made tomorrow.
Also, my son and I went to the woods behind our house and got a whole bucket of blackberries.
B: 1 banana
S: A bowl of fruit from the farmers market (peach, watermelon, cherries)
L: nori rolls with Alissa's mock tuna and some with almond ginger paste
S: 2 raw chocolate turtles - Oh yeah!
D: finished off the nori rolls
S: blackberry pie
I never ate this good on SAD, that's for sure and I'm down 6 lbs from Aug 1.
