I am brand new to raw, so thanks in advance for any insight!

I am doing a "2-day detox" which I bought from a store, which is one gallon of juice a day-- the juice is fresh, mixed together-- grapefruit, lemon and orange.

I am on day one of this and I have been okay most of today but right now I feel awful. I expected to, though, so that is okay.

Now, to my question... I want to try raw without getting too in over my head (I have tried a million diet programs, fat flush, etc and went nuts buying things, only to give up on the diet/way of eating. Especially Fat Flush-- was just too difficult for me to maintain) in terms of commitment, etc.

We have a legit fresh juice bar where I live, and I'm willing to go and purchase, say a day's worth of juices/smoothies to do an experiment of a liquid diet, just for a day. This is to see if this sort of diet change I could do long-term and not give up right away. Thing is, I don't know how much I should be consuming in one day. Is one "serving" considered a meal? So, three a day?

I apologize if my questions are redundant-- I have been lurking on the site for 4 days and have not really come across an answer to this.

imo its obviously a very difficult change to make getting into raw

my guts craved my old cooked heavy vegan meals for over a year easily

and the only way i could stick to raw was eating as much raw stuff as i ever craved with no limits on how much

and to me its the same with juices / smoothies because if you dont keep throwing something in the guts your cooked food cravings take control and youll shortly be at the helm of a stove :D

I would invest in a Good Juicer and do My own Juicing. This is a Good thing to do, RAW or not. RAW is a LifeStyle and not a fad diet so you will plan to live this way and not just focus on losing a few pounds but reshaping your Body, inside and out and looking GOOD the rest of your Life.
