New to raw

HI! I am new to the whole concept of being raw. I want to feel better and I have spent time reading about the raw life and I am ready to embrace it with my whole heart and soul. I have had many years of health issues from GI problems to endometrosis, skin problems, etc.. I found this site and I am hoping to find the support I need to make this journey a successful one that will be a life journey for me.

If anyone lives in California ( SOCAL) I would love to get into a group as well. thanks for reading :)

Check out Meetup.com, they have several Chapters in the L. A. area. They meet at least once a Month, everyone brings food, guest Speakers and they are always looking for new places and Homes to meet at. You can Host a Meeting.

Welcome! Yes! I agree - Alissa's recipes are wonderful. I strongly suggest purchasing her book and DVDs - they are the best out there! Her book is my Raw food Bible! ;)

Welcome to raw! Our starting and goal weights are almost identical (223/135). Best wishes on a successful journey!

Blogging here has been the best thing for me, especially in the beginning. Second to that is all the great information and wonderful people on this forum. Alissa's is the best way to go raw. (((HUGS)))
