Is there a kitchen tool that can make long thick spaghetti like noodles. The spiral slicer I have does the angel hair like noodles but I'm wanting to make thicker noodles. I just checked out a video on using the Spirooli Vegetable Slicer which I thought made thicker noodles but it doesnt seem to, thicker as in flat but not the round thick noodles like spaghetti noodles....
Anyone know ??

I use an oxo julienne peeler (http://www.amazon.com/Oxo-Good-Grips-Julienne-Peeler/dp/B0000CCY1S). It works like a potato peeler only makes square "noodles". oxo products are available at lots of grocery and department stores.

I got a Spiralo (http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Spiralo-Spiral-Vegetable-Slicer-Raw-Foods-Spirooli_W0QQitemZ110420551137QQcmdZViewItemQQptZL H_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item19b593e5e1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14) off ebay and it makes nice thick noodles. Marinate them awhile with olive oil and salt and they soften up and I can almost imagine they really are pasta. YUM.
