It is AMAZING!!! Wish I would have gotten it sooner! Thank you Alissa, this is an amazing book, down to earth, like you are talking right to me. The recipes are great, not hugely intimidating and I LOVE the 4 week menu plan. You made it so easy!

Have to go as I can't keep my eyes off it, have so much more to read......

Whoa, 40 raw food books??!! I have about 5 or 6 and thought that was alot. But, either way, this is BY FAR the best book!

Yes, her book is GREAT! I just got it last week and could not put it down! I was finishing up a Master Cleanse, and was thinking that I would do a mix of raw and healthy cooked food (is that an oxymoron, or what?!). After reading Alissa's book, I'm just going to jump in and do it 100% raw. I especially liked how she included so many motivating testimonials.

Thanks, 4forme! I did high raw for awhile after my last Master Cleanse in February, but I still allowed myself some cooked food on occasion (and it was always a naughty SAD indulgence when I allowed it). Eventually my diet turned into less raw and more SAD :(. But now I feel ready to take another stab at it and do it right. I felt really good when I was doing raw a few months ago, and I know that I can feel even better by going the whole nine yards with it!

I'm mostly planning to follow Alissa's 4 week guide, so I'll either be making the fettucini alfredo or the pad thai first! I haven't looked at the berry soup recipe yet, I will have to check that out, it sounds divine!

Johnled, I just ordered my Vitamix yesterday, I'm so excited!! I have wanted one for awhile, but had been putting it off due to the cost (was trying to wait for Christmas, really!). Well, my faithful Oster is starting to have some issues, and with my renewed commitment to raw, I figured now was the time to go for it. Can't wait to have "smooth" green smoothies, and almond butter that doesn't take 15 minutes like the food processor (and it never comes together fully either). Have fun with yours, and enjoy Alissa's book! :D

Alissa's book is on it's way to me as I type! Very excited! Got a BlendTec for a birthday present in June and now am saving up to get an Excalibur dehydrator. I am having lots of fun being creative with RAW!
