I'm sooo excited I just received my brand new dehydrator a couple of days ago and I'm really excited to start using it.

I want to try making Teriyaki Almonds and was wondering if anyone out there has a recipe for it.

I would love some guidance with the dehydrator too if there any special tips and tricks!

Thanks!

I haven't tried this recipe yet since I am not fond of teriyaki, but I have this from a collection of recipes I got when I went raw. Hope this works out for you. Let me know how it goes if you try it.

Teriyaki Almonds

2 c almonds
1 t lemon juice
1 T vegetable oil
1/2 t sea salt
1/4 t onion powder
1 T soy sauce
1-2 t agave
1/2 t ginger
1/4 t garlic powder

Soak and then dehydrate almonds. While nuts are in the dehydrator, in a bowl, combine soy sauce, lemon juice, agave, oil, ginger, salt, garlic and onion powder. Add warm almonds. Toss to coat nuts. Return nuts to dehydrator for about 3-4 hours, turning once. Store in an airtight container.

Let me know how it goes. I might have to try it out too, my husband said if I didn't make a lot he would eat them. What a sport he is!!
