Hi, Count me in. Better late than never! :)

I was a bit late this morning and didn't make any smoothies etc.

I've brought a whole bag of fruit and veggies with me to work today.
Fruit: a selection of guavas, bananas, paw-paw, avo.
Veggies: a large cucumber and a tomato and some broccoli.
Also some goji berries and cacao nibs with almonds mix.

'nother good day :D

B: banana and 3 macadamia nuts
L: carrot, zucchini, tomato, capsicum, shallot and avocado salad
(1L by volume, I ate it out of a measuring jug)
D: 4 small bananas and 1 persimmon

I had never had a persimmon before and didn't know what to expect, i thought there would be seeds, but no. Tasted good enough to want to eat the other 2 i bought, but not a fave.

didn't have any nuts today as I over-indulged last night. didn't miss them either (ok, 3 macadamias). Little bit slack on the greens today too, as i had run out and needed to buy more.

Is it too late to join in? Mine started yesterday. Would've been on the 1st, but I cheated a bit after being stuck in ER for a few hours. :(

This morning I had a peach and a red apple with this (well, I don't have a name for it) 'granola type' stuff. It's a variation of the oaty apple cookie recipe I found on this site. Just had another peach a few minutes ago. I got a large basket from the farmer's market, so it's going to be peach crazy this week! They're my fave!

Hi=)

More moving today. I am trying to have fun with it. I am going to adjust my attitude and have a great, fun day--I'm grateful for the chance to finally be moving forward towards my goal of farm life. I've been stuck in limbo so long that I got used to it=)

Plan--
green smoothie
plums
tomato soup
oranges
cheesy cucumber rice(making a special trip for cukes even though my house is full of food bc this is so good)

I hope you are happy and full of inspiration today!=)

Hi=)

cheesy cucumber rice
=)

Yum, can you share your recipe? Thanks!

Today's plan - It's 7am here now, so working on the rest of the green smoothie from yesterday for breakfast, will probably take a banana to eat on the way in to work as well.
At work:
Lunch - large salad, mostly iceberg lettuce with some "field greens" (bagged) mix, (w/ the EVOO put on last night to "marinate"), topped w/ fresh sweet corn, 1 roma tomato, and 1/4 avocado.
Snacks: grapefruit, cherries, and pumpkin seeds. Also bringing a couple Lara bars to put in the desk just in case......

Dinner, I plan to make broccolini salad. One of my favorite raw recipes!

This morning, 3 bananas, 1 tangerine, 1 orange.
It's winter, so have to eat a lot to keep the heat up! Still partly b/feeding too.
Horrible detox breath for the last 3 days (sorry if tmi!)
Feeling clearer headed, not so easy doing this when it's cold and no central heating in the house! Any other people in cold climes over there?

It's a beautiful sunny day today. I have spent most of my morning reading on my deck so I can get caught up on homework. I will be really glad when school is done and I can relax more!

I woke up with a stomach ache so only had some cucumber-celery juice this morning. Although I love to EAT celery, I've found that I really don't like it when I juice it. It just seems too bitter and strong tasting. I need to go to the store this afternoon to pick up some greens. It is definitely true for me that the more greens I have, the less cravings I have for SAD food. (And if the greens don't work, then I break out the chocolate!) :D

I had a smoothie with chia, blueberries, banana, cacao and some yacon syrup for lunch. Once I go to the store, I will have a big salad with sauerkraut.

Hope you are all having a great day - keep up the good work! :)

My 3rd day is being long and tough.
I couldn't go home for lunch because we had an emergency at work, so I just ate a banana. Another one in the afternoon and this evening I got a salad with tomatoes, avocado, bell pepper and carrot, followed by a peach.
Something strange just started. I have some kind of allergic reaction: My upper arms are very itchy. Never happened before. I am not worried but it is very annoying. And I am very very thirsty.
See you tomorrow.
Have a nicer evening than mine!:D

Good afternooon! Wasn't able to post yesterday as my computer is at work. So I'll post both days today. I'm committed to holding myself accountable for everything I eat this month and will post it all.

Yesterday:

Eggless 'Egg-salad' on Celery Sticks
Pineapple Core
Spoonful of Coconut Oil
Cacao-Frozen Banana-Maca-Almond Mylk Shake (My Favorite!)

Today:

More Eggless 'Egg-Salad' on Celery Sticks
Kale Chips
Cacao-Frozen Banana-Almond Mylk Shake
Swiss Chard Roll-ups with Veggies & Marinated Portabellas
Spinach Dip on Tomato Slices

My lifelong food cravings virtually disappeared when I went high raw four months ago. For the first time in my life I felt unchained and set free!! But now that I've committed myself to this challenge a new demon has appeared. He talks to me all day long saying "You don't have to do this. Nobody can tell you what to do. You don't have to be 100%. This challenge isn't the boss of you!! ..... and on and on and on." I haven't succumbed but he's a pain in the ass! I hadn't really been aware of that defiant-independent part of myself. Now that I'm not stuffing my feelings and emotions with all that cooked food, the hidden me emerges!

Peace to all.

After a day of citrus, bananas and pears, for dinner ate a salad with lettuce, bell pepper and 2 corn on the cobs.
Today has been harder, but I feel really helped out by having this forum to post on and read how everyone's getting on!
Thanks to all...

It's great to be amonst so many committed raw foodies.... you're all motivating me.

Today was a bit of a challenge... I didn't get to planning out meals for the week yesterday, hadn't shopped other than what I had on hand from my farmer's market (but didn't really have any fresh seeds, nuts, etc)... so today felt a little overwhelmed as I tried to figure out the menu... I was feeling a bit discouraged as I poured through my recipe books but it felt like everything needed to be sprouted or dehydrated... lol

I made it through... it's just to important to me to reclaim myself and be good to ME. I had a smoothie for bfast (apple, kale, cucumber, carrots, chia) and a smoothie for lunch (my favorite blueberry, cherry, banana, acai).... then for dinner I made my favorite cabbage crunch (cabbage, green onions, applecider vinegar, black sesame seeds, pepper)

and eventually I went to the market to pick up some 'necessities'...

I've put some buckwheat out for sprouting... any thoughts as to what else I should consider as a staple? Ideas for how you organize yourself with meal planning, etc?

Thanks all!

Thanks for posting the cucumber rice recipe. I was going to ask for it as well.

tried to drink lots of water, and not eat after dark.

Had a banana/almond/cacao smoothie (half of it) for breakfast, oh and two cucumbers right away in the AM because I was so hungry. These were my first farmer's market cukes this year, and they sure tasted better than the store's.

Lunch.....hmm...oh yeah....the raw corn chips with guacamole.

Then again the raw corn chips with the rest of the guacamole for supper.

And a one hour walk with my son (he rode his bike)

I think tomorrow I will try that cucumber rice too! Today was a good food day; I made some new things that I really liked. The first half of the day I felt tired and weak. I went for a walk like I did yesterday but I had to cut it to only 45 minutes because I was feeling weak. Later I took a nap and I feel fine now.

B - Green Smoothie of a banana, mango, pineapple ring, 2 peaches, kale, and dandelion

S - Some goji berries and a bit of cheese cracker

D - Raw Pizza made with Russell James' Almond Mediterranean Bread, Marinara sauce and Alfredo sauce, both from Living Cuisine, and I put mushrooms, onion, torn basil, and sliced olives on top. OMG!! This was the BEST raw entree I've ever made, like raw restaurant quality. I've made pizza's before (and have had them at raw restaurants), but they were on the cracker type crust and weren't nearly as good. I didn't know what to do with that bread (I've never made it before) but this was perfect. I'll probably be making this every week. I put a photo in my blog.

D - I had a chocolate craving but didn't feel like making anything in the food processor. So I just put together some raw cacao powder, coconut oil, and raw agave, mixed it up in a cup, and dipped some cherries, strawberries, banana-almond butter sandwiches, and a date filled with almond butter in the sauces, than froze it. Meanwhile I liked the bowl. :D This was EXCELLENT as well, though I'll put less coconut oil in next time because I could kinda taste it. But basically it tasted exactly like 'real' chocolate. I was laughing it was so good. I tried the bananas and cherries so far; I liked the bananas more. I put a photo of this in my blog too! It's amazing that I don't feel the urge to go and eat them all. When I usually have Hershey's kisses I have to eat a lot.

Today I didn't really have set "meals", it was more like snacks throughout the day. I'd like to list them though. I'm finding that it's really helpful to write at the end of the day all of what I've eaten, it helps me look at it from a different perspective, or something!

2 nectarines
2 plums
quarter of a cantaloupe
3 handfuls of walnuts, with honey (I craved comfort food and went a bit overboard with them!!)
2 lettuce wraps w/ginger cucumber zucchini onion tomato

Hello, everyone, I am decluttering my house like mad and it is total chaos here. Everything is all torn up and in heaps, but I have "released" TONS of clutter and garbage. It feels good to be having the energy to do this type of thing. I hate clutter but am surrounded by clutterbugs and for years have not had the energy to do anything about it. So basically I have hated being in my home. My plan is to have my house totally decluttered by my birthday in September.

B: Green smoothie of kale, banana, coconut oil, pumpkin seeds, and cinnamon.
L: Pesto mushrooms. Handful of cashews.
S: Salad of green lettuce, tomatoes, and mushrooms with olive oil and garlic, piece of bread.
Snack: Half of an almond carob shake my daughter concocted. Good but I coudn't finish it.
The rest goes in the freezer today for a good cold snack later.

I have to go to work for a few hours this afternoon and I don't wanna. I just wanna declutter!
