Ok so anyone see the Matt Monarch show about colon hydro? He has always said these things but it just sunk into my head. I realized the source of all of my raw challenges.(if you feel so inclined, dont bust on me about quoting Matt. SOME of his stuff is good)

To me, it is why I have been challenged so much for the past almost two years on raw. When I first went raw, it was amazing. Glow, energy, bliss alot of the time. Then it all went downhill. The rawer I got, the more greens I consumed, the worse I felt. Why?

This is what I see. This is really huge to me.

All of my raw challenges add up to one thing. Colonics.

Picture taking your garbage can and merely emptying out the surface of whats in there. The stuck on gunk and residuals stay on and continue to build. Then picture bringing the garbage back in the house and recirculating it all over the house. ugh

Well this is what is happening in raw bodies. The raw-er you are, the more garbage there is to clean. You are dumping more in your colon because you are high raw and thus more is building up in there.

No you cannot and do not get it all out in normal bowel movements. Highly unlikely.

So, wonder why you crave all the old foods you used to? Well, this old stuff is being dumped in the colon and then comes back around because it never left. Thats right.

Why is your skin a mess or you have depression that wont go away? Its all the gunk in the colon. The colons function, in part, is to extract vitamins and nutrition and send it into the blood. SO instead, it is sending toxins into the blood.

The challenges of raw, if you are not feeling as good as everyone says you can, you dont have the glow, you are depressed and all kinds of other emotional stuff floating closeby, you have the KEY now.

Run, not walk (if you so choose) to your colon hydrotherapist and clean it all out, until you get it clean, really clean and see if it doenst change your rawkn raw world!!!!

If it is expensive for you, learn how to do your own high enemas. It is easy and affordable and you CAN get pretty clean with them. Ann Wigmore did an enema every day it has been said.

I am onto a huge change in my health and am and will truly realize what wonderful raw life feels like, without cravings and emotion stuff etc etc etc.

I hope you all try it and see for yourself!!!

ADDED INFO.Please note: I am speaking from tried and true experience. Immediate clarity, lightness, airyness, immense feeling of wellness and wholeness and happiness beyond belief.

This, I now do, on a regualr basis. I experience the results.
I had done this when I was a sticky stuff vegetarian and got amazing results. On raw , the results now are incredible.

I speak of, not what experts say or books say or media says, only of what I have tried and tested and experienced.

It is, to me, along with a high raw diet (lots green juce), one of the most profound things one can do to influence a large, I mean large, shift in the state of a persons health.

No matter how clean we think the colon is, as long as we are dumping things with high raw, we need to clean it out. To clarify, that is, IF you want the most ultimate health you can attain. If you are fine where you are and feel all is well, then do as you do.

I speak, as I always do, for me, from my experience, and only to help those who want or need help. The others, you are free to do as you do and ignore this info.

Free to be you and me. Bless those who are all set and Bless those who look at this and try it out. You are ON YOUR WAY!!!

Natalia rose is a raw foods advocate and author of many raw food books, and I use her books as my bibles, sorta. She doesnt say to take in a diet of 100% raw foods because the body cant actually handle that. It needs steady detox. ending in eventual raw juice and veggie consumption.

She talks a lot about colon cleansing and it has always made sense to me. You should really check out one of her books. I have raw food detox diet, and raw foods life force energy. She just put out detox for women which i really want to get.

her website is detoxtheworld.com. Check out her blogs and faq's for really good tips.

Are you telling us that you have done colonics and that this has changed all the negative things you are talking about? Or are you saying you think colonics are the answer. It's not clear from your post, but if it's that latter I don't think you should be telling people to run to get a colonic.

i had a colonoscopy done 8 years ago when i was still eating and drinking all junk .. the inside of my colon right up to the appendix was smooth muscle tissue with the usual bumps and dips .. where do you suppose the *years of built up garbage * is hiding ?

i have a hard time swallowing this idea, and then you suggest that because of highraw we are dumping even more stuff in there to stick onto the inside of the colon?

im sorry it just doesnt jive .. ive yet to see a colonoscopy vid of all this stuck on garbage .. can anyone come up with one?

dont get me wrong ive done many enemas and many colonics all for various reasons but ive yet to see an actual video despite this idea floating around for at least 2 decades or more now :)

Im getting it done asap! I have had so many synchronous signs telling me I should do this for myself soon! First it was a raw food friend reminding me to do it, then the same day Matt Monarch was speaking about it, then I had a newsletter, ect ect.. well It's done!

I will report back to this thread right after I do it. I'll be going in a couple of weeks, I have to save some money first but it will be well worth it, I just know it.

Hi celeryhead, I edited my thread so it is more clear that everyone gets to choose, which is always the case no matter what anyone reccomends. I apologize that I was unclear in my experience with this...ooopsy.

To follow up with more my thread here....

Today I did an enema as I am on a high juice cleanse (with very little fiber to have much bowel movement). The first stuff to come out usually is the most profound.

I took a picture and when I can I will post it here and people can look or not.
It appears to me to be some parasite remains. Note: I have been hgh raw for almost two years and have regular bowel movements. I also have had colon hydrotherapy.

Often I get ropes and tarry looking pieces.

In past tmes when I have done these, I get more feces out than ever exits my body in a day. I am blown away by the amount!!

And in the course of staying with it until I am clean and I know when it is complete, there comes food pieces(like a tomato skin or something that is very definitive) I ate three days ago!!! Thats when I go poo every day. Who wants that in there for that long? Not me.

No matter what, raw or not, it seems most dont poo as often as they eat. I see children and the minute they eat, soon right in the md of the meal, they have to go and quickly. That is how our bodies work best. To poo as often as we eat.

If you do great. You might be emptying totally in a day.

I guess when I saw that Angela Monarch said how much came out of her in colonics, with the way she eats and juices, that there is hardly a person out there that clean inside that they wouldnt benefit immensly from colonics!!

Interesting, but I have to pass on the colonics. I can't get past the idea that a colonic is extreme and there is nothing natural about it.

Perhaps if there was a health issue...?

If you start with colonics, is there a point where you stop or do you continue it for the rest of your life?

Well, I am not sure I believe in large old poop theory either, but majority of toxins that do get dumped in the colon do not come in large amounts and are not that visible. There is a large blood vessel going from liver to colon, and a lot of toxins get dumped in the colon that way. And this is that needs to be flushed out of the colon, not the 20 year old poop. Anyway, all theories aside, I personally feel better, much better on my juice fasts when I do enema(and I am not even very good at it).
Just do what feels best!

Colonics are up to oneself when to do them or stop. Not for life unless one wants to. In period sof deep cleansing or sickness if there is any, these work well. Different times and seasons call for different things.

Wonder why people feel the need to disagree when one is simply sharing thier experience ? Interestng question. Why not simply notice and move on. Hmmmm

Yeah, your colon was clean when they did the colonoscopy, but do you remeber that you had to do a clear liquid fast followed by drinking a horrible liquid that made you go and go and go. Before my colonic, I was literally on the toilet all night. It was a pretty horrible way to clean out my colon and intestines. I have the pictures to prove they were sparkling clean!!!

However, I have since had a few colonics because I had unexplained digestive tract issues. The colonic was a far better way of cleaning out my colon and my digestive issues improved greatly. I was amazed to see that food I had eaten a week prior to my colonic was still coming out.

Also, what happens with some people is that they have diverticula or pouches in their intestine walls that don't get cleaned out as easily. A colonic is the only way to get them clean.

yep i hear ya .. that pre-colon night was something hehe :)

yes i dont doubt the procedure cleaned me out but then if thats all thats needed to clear things out wouldnt people be doing just that ?

its just the statement "years of built up junk stuck to the inside walls" is the part i have a problem with beleiving

dont get me wrong like i said ive done enemas on a regular basis and have had many colon hydrotherapy sessions :) its just ive never seen any proof of that one statement and i really think its been used to death over the last 2 decades or more to scare people into thinking they are these walking garbage cans at all times :)

i beleive a healthy colon is one of the keys too good health for sure, if that colon is nice and clean and smooth and contractions are working as they should then all is good, if its not then it is something to shoot for sure :)

Annavon..you have a point...I suppose any colon would look like that after all that stuff to drink and the potty trots for hours.

Some call the "go lightly" drink "fire in the hole"...its not for me.

I prefer the "unatural" colon cleansing with a hydrotherapist who is amazing....as well as my own self doing enemas.

jgunn
07-28-2009, 03:50 PM
yea the fire in the hole is not something one would enjoy experiencing on a regular basis ;)

I appreciate your answer. How to find a good place/person to handle it. For something like this the yellow pages won't do. Any suggestions?

There are always two sides to every story. I like to look at important issues from all sides. Thanks for sharing your experience.

No yellow pages....although I would think one who has chosen colonics as a profession might ( I would hope) be in love with the whole concept and very serious about it.

Ask people in your area...raw meetups n such. The raw community where you live. Someone there would have a person they go to and can speak well of hopefully.

I was so happy in that I found a lady from my raw food community meetings and she and I hit it off and so we worked it out to barter!!! Neat I say!

Best to you.

Never doubt the power of our bodies! They are wonderful machines when treated right (water rich raw food, sunshine, sleep, positivity, ect...). I had two colonics last year when I first read about raw foods. They're great for starters who have years of built up crap (literally) in their colon that NEEDS to be flushed out. However, if you're having regular bowel movements (ideally at least 3 a day) colonics aren't necessary in my opinion.

I think it might be a good idea for me. I'll post when I have it done and my results.

The colon tissue is like a sponge, and as you eat highly raw, or especially during fasting, the colon will release what has been built up in your cells, so, it's not actually sitting right in the colon (unless you're constipated!), but within the walls of the 'sponge-like' tissue.

P.S. I love my colon hydrotherapist! lol

I saw the Matt Monarch show and Kevin Gianni a few weeks back, both focusing on colonics. I am debating the same thing myself, and searching for a hydrotherapist that sounds good, and not too far away. The closest one I've found is probably an hour or so. I am wondering if I should borrow my mom's colonics board and start learning that for myself, for the time being. I would like to give it a couple weeks before I make an appointment for a regular hydrotherapist (because of work schedule). I'm almost afraid to look up info. on how to do your own colonics...

Colonics have their place, but if you get them make sure the water is clean. You don't want tap water inside you, especially chlorinated or fluoridated water. Dr. Max Gerson would recommend adding organic coffee, to open up the bile ducts of the liver. Others recommend adding wheatgrass juice.

it is better to do a salt water flush, it's cheaper. But i know that it's not the same as a colonic but you can flush your digestive tract everyday...i've been doing it for three days now because i am doing a water fast...but i have to admit, i can't stand it,it is too harsh...i am tired,my body is weak now...need some rest...

I can personally vouch for amazing energy after a colonic. In my case, I had to have 3 before it happened. The third time, we finally broke through the layer of hardened mucous build up. Gross but true. That night, I felt SO GOOD. I can't even explain how huge my energy was that night. But I was still on a SAD diet at the time and the energy went away.

I hope to get another colonic very, very soon.

I'm actually going to see Matt Monarch tomorrow, so maybe he'll talk about colonics.

I guess I'm just wondering - how do they do colonoscopies (sp?) if there was really a thick layer in your colon? My mom has had this done and there was a camera and she said the inside of her colon was pink - not green or brown. So where was the build up?

Jenifae

I had my very 1st Colonic on Monday. It was interesting. I was a little nervous but, she was great and stayed with me and talked with me. It was not painful at all but, I noticed during it I got light headed a few times and was headachy all day afterwards. I really don't wanna waste the colonic on bad food. All last week I had SAD food and today I did too. Geez. I was doing so good for so long. But, if I stress myself out over it I'll never get back on track.

Anyway she said I released well for my 1st one and alot of orange and yellow toxins came out and fluffy stuff. Candida she said.

I'm striving to get back to GREEN and do a series of Colonics.

Lightheaded and headache is normal for what is happening. No worries. Good to have one a month at least.
