At my old house I had aquasana and loved it! For my kitchen and shower. The kitchen is an under the counter, with a spigot on the sink. The shower uses the filter on the shower head. www.aquasana.com

Since I've moved, I haven't hooked that up yet, but got a Pur system for the time being and that works great too.

We've had reverse osmosis systems for over 25 years (2 - first one was a Culligan bought in the 80s, this one is from Sears -- I've even seen them now at Costco) and it works so well for us. We even have our ice maker plumbed into it. *Ü*

Back to add - my holistic MD recommends that we add mineral drops to our drinking water since the RO filter removes the good with the bad. So, we add them.

I just use water you can refill at the store-it uses bunch of filters including reverse osmosis. I stoped using Brita after my son's doctor told me, that I can use Brita for his water, because it doesn't remove fluoride. And I definetely want to remove that! Now I am so in love with that water, that I don't like bottled water at all. I like to add some lemon to it.
One day when I live in the house, I will definetely get the whole house filter. For now on the showers I use shower filter.
