Smoothie
1/4 cup of hemps seeds
2 cup of frozen strawberries
1 1/4 cup of water
5 medium banana
Blend well and enjoy!
p.s You can cut the recipes in half, you will have 1 liter of smoothie
I pay $7.99 for 227 g I have been doing research with the nutrients my daughter is having and i found that hemp seeds contain 9 essential amino acid, there are more amino acid but this is quite an information. On top of being rich with omega 3 and 6 (you need 3 and 6 for your body to make the 9). It is amazing the nutrient contain in them.
See for yourself. We buy the one from Manitoba/Canada

Hey Freddie, another Swede here! :)
I rarely buy hulled hemp seeds because they are indeed quite expensive. I rather just go for the whole ones and make milk out of them.
It bothers me that I can't make use of the left over pulp though.
There are much less expensive sources of organic cold pressed coconut oil. Some of them have been deodorized with steam though, but I'm personally not all that concerned about it since coconut oil can withstand that heat well. My main concerns are that it should be from good organic sources and that it's pressed, not extracted with chemicals.

Could you use the leftover pulp to thicken a fruit pie? Like mango, young coconut meat, young coconut water, some nuts and the pulp, for example? Or maybe a cream soup, like cream of asparagus or broccoli? I have read recipes of people using the leftover pulp from nut milks in those ways. Could it work with leftover seed milk pulp too?
I haven't used hemp seeds before and just put out $1.45 for 30g of "shelled" hemp seeds to play with. Thought I'd see if I liked it before buying a large quantity.

Greetings! Welcome to RFT.
In the US we can't have any hemp seeds that might germinate. All the hemp seeds I have seen here are shelled and/or crushed and come from Canada. Where I shop here in the Pacific NW the cost for an 8oz (227g) bag of soft shelled hemp seed is $9.79. Buying in bulk is a lot cheaper. A 5 lb bag is $54.99.
I use almonds and hazelnuts to make milk, the hemp seed I use sparingly, 1-2 Tablespoons in a smoothie. I also use hemp seeds in brownies.

Yeah, biofood is the one I usually buy. And I've bought it from plushälsa the last couple of times. They sell it for 49SEK/500g.
Coconut butter and coconut oil is the same thing. The taste does vary between brands though, and like I said some of them have been deodorized so it won't have the coconut taste anymore (can be very useful).
