Raw community in Victoria?

Hello!

I've been interested in raw foodism for quite some time and have eaten varying degrees of a raw diet for the past several months. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a raw food community in Victoria, BC (other than the mostly inactive one through the island's vegetarian association)?? I feel like I would be much more successful in this adventure if I could discover a community of support -- I'm currently the only person I know who is striving to be raw.

Any raw islanders out there?? :)

I'm trying to be raw. With not a lot of success these days (I've done better, thats for sure).. I have a 13month old son.. he's raw though. I'm in Vic also, just moved here (esquimalt actually). I don't usually read this board (not that it's not great, honest! no time!!) but you can email me at tetrishaper@msn.com - I don't know of any groups here though cuz like i said, just moved here. But I'm up for conversation, and maybe we'll find something going on! did you check out meetup.com?

i went to meetup briefly and saw some postings--but not for the island--did you see a posting for the island that i missed or something? or was this just a suggestion?
