Back when I low-carbed, we had this thread going and it was over 20 pages long. What a wealth of information everyone shared!

I hope you'll share your tip(s) too!

I was making The Famous Onion Bread today and as I was spreading the batter, I thought of a tip to share...

When spreading batter on a non-stick dehydrator sheet - wet the counter well, place the sheet down and voila! No more chasing the sheet around (or the tray) the counter as you're spreading the batter. When you're finished, just pick up 2 corners on the same side and simply pull it up and onto the tray. Works like a charm - sheet stays put making spreading a breeze.

Use a metal melon baller to scoop out the meat from a Young Thai Coconut - it works better than anything I've tried. And it's comfortable to use it too.

Thrift stores usually have Mason canning jars for 10-25¢. They're great for storing food items in the fridge or cupboard. You can freeze items in canning jars too. *Ü*

Put a jar opener pad under your cutting board to keep it from moving.

open tough jars by placing a wide elastic band (like the kind that comes on broccoli) around the lid, makes for a terrific grip!
