Hey you all. I have not been posting for a long while as my husband and pets and I had moved to a country home on the river nearly 2 years ago and my internet access and other techno-access has been (joyfully) limited. However I continue to wonder about the well being of Raw Food Talk and I see that all seems well and growing. Yay!
I'm feeling amazing. I've stayed fully raw with a passion for nearly 4 years now and I just see and feel every part of me becoming healthier and lighter and free-er. I can't fully describe the joy raw brings me but I know it's always increasing. I definiately know that the detox was heavy for the first 2 years and I still occasionally feel a detox come on but they are always gentle and without sickness. I must always remember that our bodies protect us from a lot more in our struggling environment now than ever so we're kind of always detoxing. I love spending time around fruits and veggies and nuts and seeds because they have such personality and I believe more than ever in 'playing with ones' food'. I find myself wanting more and more live and growing plants all over my living space and my Husband happily shares many of my dishes and eats more fruits and veggies than ever before. Even the things he eats cooked have become so much healthier. Meals are varied and we don't mind having different dishes in front of us even at differing times. I've learned that if both partners are supportive of the others' ideas and choices, raw fooders and cooked fooders can eat/live/love/etc. together very easily. It's funny though, He talks about going raw himself all the time and I just see that glint in his eye when he eats fruit with me. So I just wanted to say hi and check in. Don't know when I'll be back but I'll be bringing some veggies with me! me! Ha!:D
