Just wanted you all to know that you can make really rich-tasting/similar to cooked pies in the dehydrator.
We have a fruit farm and our peaches are in! For peach pie:
peel and cut peaches into slightly smaller than you would a cooked pie
puree oh maybe 1/5th and add dash cinnamon, nutmeg, sweetener and vanilla
pour over cut up/diced peaches and spread out onto dehydrator sheet
usually about 4 - 5 hours
then you can scrape it off into a pie crust
top with a dollop of frozen banana ice cream while it's still warm......
or put on top of grawnola, and top with more grawnola to make a "crisp"....
etc.
Do the same with any of the other fruit. I swear, my apple pie is better/richer than cooked. I use a tiny bit of cinnamon in it. When strawberries were in, I made strawberry crisp with grawnola that my non-raw friends liked.
HTH, Wish I could hire someone to help me create all my raw ideas...LOL
