It would really help me alot if you guys could give me a quick example of what you eat in a day.. Just breakfast, lunsj, dinner, evening. And in between!

I have nothing to compare with and I wonder if I am eating right, you know? So if someone could give me their daily menu, it would be a great help for me! :)

There is really no right or wrong. From what I understand from most on this sight..it is an intuitive thing. You eat when you feel hungry and eat what satisfies you.You have to listen to your body and know that it will give you the right cues as to what it needs.I am sure someone could post sample menus but that won't necessarily make it the "right" choices for you. :)

Take a look at the 30 Day Challenge entries. Everyone doing the challenge each month tracks their daily food intake there.

For me, every day is different and not all days have a defined breakfast lunch and dinner since I eat when I'm hungry, not when the clock tells me to. Here's what I've eaten today:

32 oz. pineapple orange juice (9am - 11am)
spinach dip with sliced peppers, tomatoes, celery & sprouted grain tortilla triangles for dipping (around 1pm)
2 clementines (around 4pm)
more spinach dip with peppers, tomatoes & celery for dipping (6pm)

I don't eat after dark so that will be all for today.

Fruit, nuts, seeds, plus a few vegetables, greens, and sprouts. I eat like our relatives, the anthropoid apes.

Everydays diff but Today I've had:

B: a small smoothie with a whole Grapefruit, 1/2 orange, 4 scoops watermelon, handful of spinach, and a bunch of home-made Kombucha drink. I drank half before jogging/exercising and half afterwards.

a plum as a "brunch" snack
3 strawberries while I was making my lunch LOL

L: salad w spinach, reg. greens, bean sprouts, cucumber tomato zucchini mushrooms onion, brewers yeast and salt, and Bragg's apple cidar as a dressing.

I haven't finished my salad, but I try to eat a little bit ever few hours as my stomach does better that way, so I'll have that for dinner I'm sure.

Typically I get the munchies later on in the evening and crave fruits and berries, so sometimes I have those late at night...

For me I started yesterday with a green supplement and later an apple. That held me until lunch.

Lunch: raw crackers and cheese (crackers were carrot pulp and flax seed, yummy.)

PM Snack: Another apple and a green smoothie, kale, spinach, celery, pineapple, mango, apple and a few raisins.

My snack was late and I forgot to eat supper last night. Went shopping after church and was too tired to care about eating when I got home!!

My usual is:

Wheat grass juice when I have it, now growing have been out for 2 weeks....maybe that's why I'm feeling subpar....

Breakfast: 32 oz green smoothie

snack: up to 2 pounds of fruit for snack, as needed. sometimes not.

Lunch: varied salads with greens of some sort, usually tomato, avacado, with hemp seed and dulse sprinkled...

Dinner: fruit and/or smoothie and/or another salad. Sometimes an entree such as hummus, lasagna or spagetti made with the zuchini, or other entree. Lately I've been craving some of the heavier foods, but way too lazy to make them, so this week it's been either fruit or smoothies, even a salad is too much trouble for me!

Here's what I usually eat. Keep in mind I am only about 80-90 percent raw. I save the cooked food for night when I will have plenty of time to digest it before my next meal, so I'm not overloading my digestive system.

Morning= first thing is always 1 quart of water , then a cup of tea

around noon= juice made from kale, cucumber, apple and lemon

2-3pm= fruit or fruit smoothie (lately it's been a big bowl of watermelon!

4-5pm = snack on baby carrots, cherry tomatoes or cucumber slices (or all 3!)

Dinner (around 7-8pm)= salad with whatever veggies I have or feel like including, my dressing lately has been balsamic vinegar with hemp oil and a few drops of stevia (I blend up a batch and keep it in the fridge) sometimes i just have the salad, but sometimes I pair it with something cooked like an omelett or a baked yam or beet or potato
(when I do cooked I always make sure to combine properly and eat a big raw salad first to help me with digestion)
