Greetings all!
After two weeks of eatting 100% raw, feeling great (for the most part) and reading all the great posts I thought it time I come out of the shadows and formally introduce myself.
I spent 7 months last summer/fall eatting 75-80% raw and loving it, fell away for a spell and recently came across this fantastic site (btw how long has it been around? Did I miss it last time?) while looking for raw recipes. So glad I did, an amazing source of information. So here I am experiencing each day as it comes, keeping in touch with what my goals are and what my inner true self is saying. I apprecitate the genuine (sp?) support that is expressed between members on this site. Having never belonged to a forum before I am still getting used to the format. It all felt so disconnected at first, guess that is why I did not say much, but now I see/feel that its not just me sitting at my computer typing words, its the energy that is put out there, in the right frame of mind/heart I can feel that energy coming back.
This is more than a journey of the palate!! :)

In peace and love~

Thanks Tim-
Now I am taking off for a 2 week road trip around the southwest. Have some concerns about food, but have packed lots of dehydrated goodies and figure I'll find all the fresh markets along the way!!

Maria, a warm welcome to the forum. I am so glad you joined in. Have you been to the Portland Raw site?
it is : http://www.rawportland.org/
There is a large raw community in your city, ongoing potlucks and events! How fortunate!

Many blessings to you on your raw journey.....you can do this! :)
