That is impressive and she is a true inspiration ... but I wish the headline in the article had been different. 'Yoga Grannie' is, to me at least, condescending as hell, almost like 'how cute!'. She's been a yoga teacher for 40 years!

There are lots of fantastic yoga teachers who are OLD. The late Pattabhi Jois was over 90 when he died a few months back; B.K.S. Iyengar (Jois' brother in law) is pushing 90 himself; Dharma Mittra is 70. Somehow, I don't think they'd be called "Yoga Grandpas" in a newspaper article.

Excuse the rant. I don't mean to sound mean-spirited and I'm really glad you posted the link, but anything smacking of condescension when it comes to women's accomplishments bugs me ... and you find that in the media quite a bit.

Yes I agree with all of you she is amazing, I can't even imagine to do its really tough but she is doing it so easily and comfortably. After This I also want to join yoga classes.
