You have to read the labels. I am currently drinking Essentia which is 9.5. The other day I was drinking Fiji that was 7.5. So read read.

6.2 is acidic. Neutral pH is 7.0. When you buy deionized water it will be neutral as all the ions that contribute to pH will be removed. Natural spring water is usually on the alkaline side, as the minerals in the spring will be positively charged (like calcium, sodium, etc) and the pH will be above 7. Some bottled water is just tap water. Some tap water is actually purer than bottled water. My Dad has fabulous water from an underground aquifer. You need to research the different brands and sources.

I drink Mountain Valley which is 7.8 PH level but I have been more concerned with the plastic bottles so I drink this brand because it comes in glass bottles. I also use distilled water to soak nuts, seeds, for food prep and recipes.

Dumb question - Where does it tell you on the water what the PH level is?
