Hi All,
Went to the doctor for routine things and was thrilled to hear words that I haven't heard in a while. My sugar was "perfect", my blood pressure is "fantastic", my cholesterol "couldn't be better", my skin is "clear", and I look "wonderfully healthy."
I thought I would share, not to boast, but to explain that on a SAD diet, those words were never part of my doctor's vocabulary. Well, at least not in reference to me. She also couldn't believe that I was not on any medications for anything. Anything.
Thank you raw diet. I have never felt better! So keep it up, raw works wonders!

Mornin' all:
Feeling truely decandent today. I had a chocolate shake for breakfast!
Mixed frozen bananas, water and coconut butter. Added ground cacao nibs, carob powder and mesquite powder. Added agave nectare and vanilla. Added frozen cherries and raspberries to thicken. Yum.
Lunch will be marinated mushrooms, kale salad and pineapple chia pudding.
Dinner a big salad and some leftover avacoda-lemon-lime ice cream pie.
All this delicious food and I'm still losing 1-2 pound a week! Beats Weight Watchers any day.

Veganspirit, congrats on the great doctor report! That is so exciting.
I am having company tonight and wanted to impress them with my raw food, even though I am also providing cooked food, so I have been "uncooking" all day and have the countertop full of dirty dishes to prove it!
B: Green smoothie of kale, frozen peaches, and almonds.
L: Two nori rolls with nut pate, green peppers, avocados, and radishes.
S: Will be burritos with nutless filling . I got the recipes for the corn tortillas (http://www.rawfreedomcommunity.info/forum/showthread.php?t=1276) and the nutless filling (http://www.rawfreedomcommunity.info/forum/showthread.php?t=1320) from Raw Freedom. The corn tortillas are bright lime green! But the batter was good. I made Da Bomb Cheddar Sauce and cashew sour cream and have yet to make some guacamole. I am also going to make raw peach ice cream.
Them's gonna be good eatin'! :D

Hi Everybody,
Things are going well today but am noticing that I really haven't wanted greens over the past week, which is really strange for me. I usually love them but for the past several days the thought of eating (or juicing) them makes me feel queasy. Not sure what is going on here but would welcome any suggestions.
This is what I had today:
- E3 Live
- Smoothie with pineapple, banana, papaya, chocolate cherry ice cream, and greens
- Garden salad with avocado
- Grapes
- Watermelon
- Raw sauerkraut
Tonight I'm planning on more chocolate cherry ice cream for dinner (because I can!) :)
Hope you are all having a great day!

Hi,
I have been a vegetarian for 14 years, discovered raw in August of 2008 but was hit or miss with it. I have been genuinely raw vegan since April 2009 and three months later, have never felt better.
I am so content and feel so good, I am not even tempted to go back to a SAD diet. Raw just makes sense for me.
