Does anyone know if the all fruit smoothies are truely raw? I looked up the ingredients and it is all fruit plus whatever juice for the specific smoothie you order. Do they add anything to their juice or is it all 100% fruit? It says 100% fruit on the website. I could always ask them to substitute it with either water or carrot juice, or I could just ask them if they add anything I suppose =D

Best bet is to specify your order. I reckon the juice they use for smoothies is pasteurized. They have fresh orange and carrot juice though, and wheat grass shots if you can handle those.

Hi! I used to work for Jamba, so I know their secrets ;)
They use pasteurized juice concentrate for all of their smoothies. The only smoothie that comes close to being raw is the MEGA Mango. It has pineapple juice concentrate in it, but to make it raw just say "No pineapple juice, sub Fresh OJ". I get this all of time! You can also change it a little by subbing different fruits or adding different fruits. A Mega Mango has mangoes and strawberries in it, but I like to sub the strawberries for blueberries sometimes. They also have peaches, bananas, and raspberries you can add or sub
They also have fresh carrot juice and fresh wheatgrass juice.
HIH!
edited to add: I usually have a manager take the order and make my smoothie from start to finish because sometimes the employees don't get my order right. But of course, that depends on how competent the employees are at your local Jamba!

Why go to jamba juice? why not make your own fruit smoothie at home? All of these juice joints are pretty expensive. If you make it at home it will be much cheaper, about one-fourth or one-fifth of the price I guess. And of course, usually it's not 100% raw.
I used to go to jamba juice quite often earlier, but after I started raw (although I'm not 100%), I make a green smoothie and a fruit smoothie everyday. The other advantage is you can add other stuff (like superfoods) to it. I add maca and hemp in my fruit smoothie, and flax seed, spirulina and pumpkin seed in the green smoothie.

I usually make a green smoothie every morning, but every once in a while my friends like to go get a jamba and hang out so I was asking because I was wondering if I could drink it or if I should just go without getting one ;)
Speaking of green smoothies I happen to be enjoying one right now :) Nothing like sittin' outside by the pool sippin on a cold smoothie...

Whenever i tag along to jamba juice, i just get the orange/carrot juice combo, which they juice right in front of me. It's a nice treat, although expensive!
