Just thought I'd share:

DD was at some new friends house and didn't get home at dark, so I went to meet her. 2 girls were walking her home, she saw me across the street and yelled "hey mom!" to which she later told me her friend replied

"That's your mom? I thought it was a young person!"

ok - across the street in the dark - I'll take it as it sounds!

At my most recent work trip, I was out to dinner with a group of clients. I and one of the doctors were talking family stuff, asked how old the kids were. I said 12 and 19, and this other doctor leans into the conversation and says "What?!? I thought you were just out of college!"

I said to the first doctor "It's the raw food!" and we laughed. We had been discussing the raw food as she knows someone else into it.

Discussing raw food with doctors??? That is spreading the word where it counts. Spreading the raw word is great fun, and if you can look going doing it, EVEN BETTER!

Yeah - I can't wait until the next meeting in 6 months....I sure hope there will be some more "evidence"! I'll meet with another group I saw in June in October, so it's a great motivation that I can showcase the benes to the medical profession.

The docs I work with are at the very top of their profession. I only bring up the raw deal if asked, and then I do have a few meals with them over the course of the meeting, so I have to request special food in advance.

I can say this - that I've seen no evidence of any "conspiracy" to keep america unhealthy for money, as some seem to want to allege. Rather, it is just a function of their training to look only at 'evidence' - and of course, there is lots of evidence for all kinds of things if you stack the stats right.

So I have great hope that we can mount that evidence, and get noticed. :p

I've only gotten 1 "protein" question so far from the docs!!

I have a friend who works in a doctor's office. She tells other people about how great raw is for me and how much I believe in it. I really appreciate that affirmation coming from her. Now if I could just get her to give it a try she might be able to get off some of those meds she takes.

Hey - that's great!! It brought back to me something that happened just last weekend. I was with a group (about 20 of us) who graduated from H.S. together 43 years ago. Someone not in our group said to me "You didn't graduate with all these people, did you? You sure look alot younger than them." It made them grumble, but it sure made my day! This happens alot (people not being able to believe that I'm 61), but I never get tired of hearing it!! Keep up the good work!:D
