I've been beating around the bush for a while now but it's time for a full-on juice feast.
I've been easing myself into it for the past few days now having only few solids so I wouldn't shock my system. I want to start this fall feeling renewed after a summer juice feast, I've always felt so good drinking juices so I thought why not go all the way for a while. After months of just raw food, I have had a few tortilla chip indulgences this summer only to feel awful afterward, which is just a slap-in-the face reminder to me!
After eating raw food, cooked foods like fried corn tortillas just make feel terrible

I want to adjust to my own juice regime so I'm starting today with all juices except I will eat watermelon as it is, and I'll continue this unless I decide to juice it as well. No limits for me, just an abundance of fruit and veggie juices. My juicer is gonna get a workout...

My question to anybody who has completed a juice fast before, is what were your experiences with mixing, or "juice" combining between fruits and veggie juices? Seeing as how juices digest much faster than solids, how far apart (if at all) would you recommend drinking fruit juices and veggie juices? I mix certain foods, I made a grape juice with romaine lettuce juice yesterday and it tasted very pleasant and seemed to settle very well. I know I will adjust as time goes on.

Juice feasting seems like such a smart idea right now especially, I'm excited to see the changes that may come along.

I'm on the Longest Juice Fast I've been on, 2 Months, I usually only do the Month of June but I decided to add July and it been RAWonderful.

I dont' mix the Juices, No reason. I like to drink Sweet (Fruit) Juices in the Morning and others later in the day. I haven't done that many Green Juices. I been doing Beets and Carrots and Fruit. The Price has been SOOOO Good on them.

I will be doing Smoothies when August comes around for a FEW Days. I Fast to HELP keep Myself Disipline in the RAW Life. MY Best to you. I also Juice WaterMelon I have Found it for 9 cent a LB.

I also peel My Pineapple, catch the Pulp in a zip-loc bag and save it, Freeze it for Smoothies Later. I can't see even throwing Pineapple away in the Garden.

I don't mix fruit and veggie juices, but just because I don't really do fruits anyway and focus instead on veggies. Apples are about the only fruit I juice, and I will add some apple to any veggie combo if the mood strikes me. (It's almost a guilty pleasure because apple makes everything taste so good!) I haven't had any problems and assume it's okay...but please someone disabuse me if there is any problem adding apple to certain things. :)

If you choose to eat watermelon during your fast, there is a chance it can make you hungry. When I juice fast I do double straining for all of my juice(through the bag and through the fine strainer) to avoid any pulp, and I never felt hungry, not even on the first days. There is probably small amount of pulp you could ingest without getting hungry, you can experiment.
