First my ecalibur arrived this morning. Then my Vitamix and the small container arrived. Hubby called to tell me at work. I couldn't wait to open the boxes and see all my goodies. Unfortunatley I did not get any of the free stuff I was promised from Vitamix, :( I will be calling her tomorrow. sniff sniff.
The Excalibur says my goodies are in there somewhere and I need hubby to help me carefully lift it out of the box so I can look for what is on the invoice.
Went to the farmers market today to get some yummy stuff to toss into both.

have fun but don't eat to many dehydrated foods if you want to lose weight. My family loves the crackers. (they still eat SAD);)
How exciting!!! I bet you're just going to be in raw food prep HEAVEN! Have fun playing with your new toys - good for you! *Ü*

leeleelocs my close family members eats SAD and she thinks she's eating wholesome foods but gmo pasterurized process and irradiated junk food will not help you at all.
She always says i'll be okay if just eat this one thing but i noticed that seems to say that every day with every meal.
Sprouts2go i'm happy for you and i hope that one day i can have a dehydrator and a vitamix too.

How exciting getting both at once! Let the fun begin! :D
Have you made your first green smoothie yet? What are you putting in the dehydrator?

"have fun but don't eat to many dehydrated foods if you want to lose weight." - leeleelocs
Sounds like the OP is at the beginning of her journey - she should experiment as much as she wants with new recipes with her new stuff without being too restrictive right now. Soon enough, her body will tell her what is good to lose weight and what's not. Everybody's different as we well know here. Granted, most people, especially those of us who are older, have to limit some stuff, but you know, often a lot less than when on SAD when one is obsessively counting calories, fat grams, carbs, etc. What I do personally with crackers and dehydrated stuff is to use these goodies as adjuncts to the much larger quantities of simpler fresh foods. Seems to work and my body likes this
To the OP - have fun with your new stuff! You're going to love them!

Hey, let us know what you made on your virgin runs ---maiden voyages with these two gadgets and how you liked 'em.
I got all kinds of free/cool stuff with my Vita-Mix....one was a book called "Beating Cancer With Nutrition." I was already pretty nutritionally savvy and yet- wow, I learned a lot from this book.
LOL, the more you know, the more you realize you don't know......
Have fun!
