Hey you happy non-cookers!

So I took the day off primarily to putz around with food!

I don't have any flax - but have ordered/paid and waiting on shipment so I don't want to make a trip - spoil the day:p:p - and buy something I've already bought!

Anyone sub chia for flax in recipes?

is it 1 to 1 or what would you suggest?

how is the flavor affected?

Primarily looking for using ground chia in cracker/chip type recipes.....

I was wondering the same thing too, so I don't have an answer for you.
I wanted to make some "Chia Crackers" but thought it sure would be a lot more expensive to use the Chia. I wonder how much of the Chia you would need to make a nice size cracker recipe?
Let us know if you tried anything.
