hello everyone! this is my first post here (my 1st of many i foresee :-)
so i have tried to fast several times usually not being successful due to temptation. However the last time i tired i felt horrible (this time it was about 70% water) until the end of the 2nd day when i all of a sudden felt ELATED. i felt like i was understanding patterns in my life that have always eluded me. i felt so grateful to be alive and just wanted to dive into life. i felt unconditional love in every direction and toward everyone...even those who have done me harm.
so OBVOUISLY i want to go deeper into this and see what could happen. today has been my first day and i have had 99% water. i don't feel hungry at all and am in a great mood. i'm not sure how long i should aim for and how much juice/water i should break it up with. also is it actually harmful to juice non organic? if so, i may have to switch to a water fast for now. do you think a buddy would be wise? i also am worried about losing too much weight.
thanks everyone in advance for any knowledge...i have been introduced to raw food about a year and half ago and have been "dabbling” in it since then. i feel like i am about to DIVE into it now as it is almost all i think about  I sort of have a crush on the raw food philosophy!

There is usually always a 30 Day Fast going on here, usually beginning the First of the Month. I juice non-organic and organic, it all depends on what I have at the Moment. There are some here who only do Organic. Its your Journey.....

I don't think you lose THAT much weight, maybe depending your present weight already. There are as many reasons to Fast as days in a Month but in the end its All about YOU. So take it one day at a time and with every Fast you learn More about yourself and whatever lesson you are seeking at the moment.

When you have a fast try to have fruit one time in your diet, I always prefer to have fruits in my diet. How much you loose your weight is totally depends on your present weight and body type.

hmmmm in two years i've only seen one 30 day fast here... and that was last month. but yup, someone is always fasting. i highly recommend you read some of the longer threads from beginning to end. you'll learn a LOT. ;)
