My skin drives me oft crazy.
It's dry, sensitive, I have often in the face red spots.
I could never wear anything of wool.
My skin feels like germs biting in my skin or under the skin.
Showering helps a bit but not long.
Never found any cream that helps except canola oil or olive oil on my skin but just gives a bit relief not much of it.
What can I eat to get this under control?
I appreciate any advice.

How Raw are you & for how long? What kinds of things are you doing to cleanse?
I can relate & I have learned the following about myself (of course your body may be completely different).
If I eat any processed sugar (that's not raw), caffeine, or cacao (even raw), I get restless legs syndrome - can't sleep until 2 or 3 am. Sometimes taking 1000mg calcium at bedtime helps mellow it (on the occasions I slip & eat one of the above items).
I have had terrible skin issues - itchy red rash like hives that does not respond to any kind of anti-hystamine medication, aloe vera gel, lotion, etc. - nothing. However, I only get the rash when I'm eating cooked food & it goes away within 7-14 days when I am 100% raw. Doing colon hydrotherapy to cleanse helps it go away faster. It goes away within 3-5 days if I do a juice feast to cleanse.
So, in brief, if I were to translate my experience into advice, I would say eat 100% raw, avoid all stimulants (including raw cacao, caffeine, black tea, green tea, coffee) & processed sugars and cleanse with a fast, juice feast, colonics, etc.
I hope this helps,
Bri.

:mad:I had trouble with it, crawling under the skin and jittery feeling.
Gingko :Di love it, it really, really helped and yesterday my hubby talked me into taking CoQ10, the vegetarian form and i had so much energy and felt so good he was scared to drive with me:o
I will never be without gingko and COQ10 they are great.
Hope this helps you.

Have you tried sweating as a way to remove toxins from the skin ?

Hi Bri,
Thanks for your message. I am not very raw at the moment. I just discovered the raw movement but I can imagine that it really works. It makes sense to me (with one exception that I could eat some contaminated vegetable). Otherwise, I simply know that his kind of eating might do wonders for the body. You don't cook all the nutrition away - if that doesn't make sense what does?
But I hate pills. Not even a calcium pill, even if I crush it. It seems still artificial to me. Somebody processed it. Might not be good for my body. I think I am getting not enough Calcium and Magnesium and have not yet found any plant way to get 1000 mg in me.
As far as the cleansing thing is concerned. You are right for sure.

You mean going to the sauna?
I think that could help. Problem is that I live far away from any sauna. Is there another way to sweat for one who has no access to a health club?

How interesting, B.
My problem is that I don't trust any processed stuff even not pills from the heath food store. I have to get my nutrition from plants or my system rejects it.

Hi Ronja,
I suffered from; candida, parasites, restless leg syndrome, itchy skin, roscea, insomnia, etc. I found that it all came from not only a SAD diet but, a HIGH FAT diet. There are 2 theories out there that cause/feed Candida & Parasites. 1 is Sugar and 1 is Fat. So, one diet you remove all sugar from your diet and the other you remove overt fats. I tried both diet methods and the only that worked for me was the "Low Fat RAW Vegan Diet" and Food Combining Especially Sugar and Fat Combinations When I eat those foods seperate from one another I do much better. All my symptoms were from an overgrowth of Candida. You can Google Candida and read all sorts of information to see if that fits you. I have found with RAW the last year and 1/2 that it's all about reading as much varied information to see what fits for you and EXPERIMENT with your Body! I wish you all the success and strength you need on your Journey. It is a process so, no RUSH is needed. Just move in your time frame. Start Eliminating harmful foods and supplements and you start feeling better. :)

Thanks, Jen. I will check out your websites too.
It is not easy to change bad habits into good habits but once changed. But I know it is possible.

You should look into taking MMS I recently had same issue and so far MMS is giving amazing results not just temporary fix. I have been a raw vegan for three years and have been dealing with the rash for about two of the years talk about frustrating. The reason I say so far is because anyone who has had this rash knows that it can come back due to sensativities but so far it seems I can do whatever I want WOW freedon is sooo coool.
