Good Morning all. Very little left in the cupboard, so I'll be improvising until I can get to the grocery store.
B: almost a green smoothie: cacao nibs, alive green powder, frozen berries, flaxseed (drinkable but only just).
L: salad of massaged collard greens, broccoli slaw, shredded carrots, tomatoes, pumpkin seeds and sprouts
D: depends on what i pick up at store. Maybe some raw corn chowder or cauliflower soup.
Have a rawsome day.

Good afternoon! I went to the farmers' market today and picked up some greens, strawberries, and mulberries. I'd never tried mulberries before, and these are first of the season. Very sweet and yummy. I made Ani Phyo's Acai Cheezecake today, so I am thinking about making a sauce to go with it using the mulberries.
My Carrot Onion Bread turned out pretty good, and the Eggplant Bacon is still dehydrating but I've taken a few nibbles. I love it! I'm looking forward to my BLTA tonight (adding avocado). :)
Here's what I had today:
- Green juice of cucumber and romaine
- Watermelon soup
- Raw sauerkraut
- Nachos (one of the vendors at the farmers' market does raw food preparation - the guacamole was awesome and I saved some of the seed cheese for my BLTA tonight!)
- picked at mulberries, tasted the carrot onion bread and acai cheezecake
I hope you are all having a great day. I'm heading out to spend some time in the sun reading a book on my deck. :)

Okay I haven't been on in a while but I've still been raw. Today I had a green smoothie with chard, red leaf lettuce, kale, apple, kiwi and banana for breakfast. It was a little bland but I still wanted more! Then an apple, and a banana shake for lunch followed a little later by a salad. I'm running low on fruit so it'll probably be a banana or banana shake for a snack and a salad for dinner. I've got tons of veggies and greens from my CSA box. I can't wait to go shopping again and get some more nectarines...

mmaynard - Mmmm! Mulberries! I haven't had them since I was a kid. We used to have a mulberry tree in our backyard when I was growing up.
