Good Morning - I use to have an awesome fruit leather recipe but can't seem to find it..it had gala apples, red delicious apples, banana and straberries if I remember correctly...does anyone have this recipe? It was SOOO good and want to get some fruit leathers in my dehydrator this weekend :)

Thanks
Sandy

...sounds like you just DID create the recipe again...?

Blend it all up, spread it out on the teflex sheets, dehydrate until you can peel away and roll up and pop 'em into the mouth!

Sounds good!

Ditto.............I don't use a RECIPE.

I think that the main advantage of fruit leathers is that they allow you to use up all the extra fruit hanging about so a recipe would be a waste of time.

Hi Sandy ~ I checked my recipe stash, but I don't have that fruit leather recipe. It sounds so good! If you come across it, will you post it here? *Ü*

Know what's cool also? Green smoothie fruit rollups. Make an extra thick green smoothie and prepare just like the fruit rollups...these, after you roll them up, can be cut into bite size pieces and packed for biking, hiking, whatever.

WOW! What a great idea. I'll definately try this.

I just puree fruits and spread them. I don't even get all fancy and mix it. I usually use one type of fruit or I will take strawberries and mix it with apple for a thicker spread.
