is there anything i can substituse for spirulina that will taste similar
Well, I'm not overly fond of the salty taste of Spirulina (although I do nonetheless consume it, in small quantities, in my green smoothies). What is it about Spirulina that you are trying to avoid - i.e. what is it that leads you to seek a replacement food stuff? Is it the B12 analogue issue, or some other reason?
Chlorella is broadly similar. Paul Pitchford, in his book 'Healing With Whole Foods', includes some discussion of the finer points of how the various algaes differ from each other, from both a Western and an Eastern perspective. I rotate between Spirulina and Chlorella. However, each of these is associated with the B12-analogue issue, as, indeed, are many of the sea vegetables. Gabriel Cousens is one well known raw-food commentator who acknowledges this issue.
If you can be more specific about your reasons for seeking a substitute, it may be easier to assist you.

J.
