Hi there! I can tell you what my staples are:

Bananas (at least two bunches)
Avocados
Red Cabbage
Baby Spinach
Mixed Lettuce
Organic Tomatoes
Raw almonds, walnuts
Red bell pepper
Celery
Frozen or fresh berries
Olives
Olive Oil
Apple Cider Vinegar
Cayenne
Sea salt

These are the basics I always buy, with them you can make smoothies, salads, dressings, Alissa's mock-salmon pate, and the bananas, nuts and avo make good meals on their own. Hope this helps!

Flax seed is on my mandatory list. You need your Essential Fatty Acids and flax is the best way to get them.

Buy what you already like--then buy a few things to experiment with. Do you like avacadoes, peaches, pecans? Whatever you like, buy them. Here's some great pictures to get your imagination rolling--

I'd add to Lucky's list:

lemons
oranges
dates
apples
macadamias or cashews (a white nut for making quick milks and creams)
celtic (or other unrefined) salt
carrots
chia seeds (in place of flax, might be better to start with this for omega three as its easy to put into smoothies)
greens greens greens!

Hey, what's really neat about Alissa's book is that she gives you the shopping list for the 1st 30 days RAW!!! Do you have her book? It's AWESOME...!!!

Yes, if you have the book, by all means, sit down and either do the 30 days starter list, or figure out which of the recipes that you want to try.

No sense in buying a bunch of ingredients that you won't use, when you could have picked up a few things that you could turn into some great dishes.

My personal weekly shopping includes things like:
several bunches of assorted dark greens, like kale, collard greens, parsley, spinach
bananas
apples
celery
cucumbers
red peppers
sunflower seeds
pumpkin seeds
walnuts, cashews, macadamia nuts, etc., as needed
oranges
grapes
figs, if I can get them :p
onions
garlic
zucchini
frozen berries, generally blueberries, for smoothies

I have certain things that I buy every week, but when I was starting out raw I just made my shopping list based on the recipes that sounded good to me at the time. Oh, and then I still always buy the produce that is on sale, and then go home and make stuff with that all week long.

Sprouts2go - I like to shred purple cabbage in salad, tear it into chip shapes to eat with dip, and use it as a wrap for taco nut meat or pate. :)

I would buy as you need the stuff.

Check for a couple recipes you want to try and go from there.

Until you find what you like and love to it and develop a new routine, it would be difficult to figure out.

My produce are far different then the beginning. Sometime, i need to make sure i have avocado, now i haven't buy avocado for age, lol..I am into coconut instead (fresh baby coconut)

Get something to make a pate
Something to make couple main dish
Salad
Something to make dressing salad
Something to make couple deserts

Congratulations and have fun!
