Not sure if this is the right place for this but I had to rave!!*L*
I am on day #6 100% raw and I feel soooooo incredible!! It's so strange and cool, I feel emotionally lighter and as if a mantle of peacefulness had been draped over me.
30 years ago when I was in college I did a juice fast for a time...organic apples and oranges were the only types of organic produce you could get.
I had a copy of Survival Into the 21st Century that I cherished...but time when on and I really fell away from that.
Right now I feel like this is so much a part of a very natural progression.
A friend asked me the other night HOW i could posible eat that way, wasn't it hard?? The funny thing is it doesn't feel hard at all...it feels very right.
Just learning something new as far as food prep skills.
I found a place that sells young coconuts and opened my first one last night...not too bad once you know the trick~ *s* Drinking a smoothie w/ orange juice, mango, peach and coconut meat and water........mmnnnnnnnnn.....my husband was gone this weekend so it was great to learn and read and focus on myself. He eats fruit loops for breakfast ok, if that gives you any indication of his eating style...I am not going to try and convert him but will just be an example and see what time brings~
Just wanted to say thanks for the forum....I am learning so much and am very encouraged by reading your posts and experiences~
